What is the process once I submit my resume to Collabera?

Once you register with Collabera, a talent acquisition executive will contact you for a quick discussion regarding your professional history, skills, and work preferences. The more we know about you, the better we can match you to your perfect position. Next, you can expect a Collabera Recruiter to contact you when positions fitting your area of expertise become available. This is just the first step in establishing a long-term interactive relationship with you as a Collabera Contract Employee. When can I expect to find a new position?

Unfortunately we are not able to provide any kind of timeline as many variables are out of our control.

I don’t see names of clients on your website. Why?

Clients often prohibit us from sharing their names due to privacy and security reasons.

What is the duration of a typical assignment/ engagement?

The assignment/ engagement duration varies, based on our client’s needs and your performance. We have engagements stretching beyond 36 months in some cases.

What happens after my assignment ends?

Your profile is automatically entered into the Collabera redeployment database. A talent retention executive will reach out to you to validate your career aspirations and work with you to meet your needs and goals. We have one of the highest redeployment ratios in the industry, and we work hard to ensure that you have several opportunities in front of you before your engagement ends.

Will I have to take any tests?

It depends on your profile, industry experience, and the position you are being considered for. Typically, you will be assessed at several levels to ensure that you will be the right fit for our clients.

What help will I get to prepare for an Interview?

The recruiter you are working with will share best practices in preparing for an interview.

What happens if I get selected by one of your clients?

Each client has a specific set of checks and compliance needs that you will have to clear before you can start working. These range from criminal background checks to drug testing to other client-specific needs. Your recruiter will work closely with you before your interview with the client to review all needed documents and on-boarding requirements. In addition, your onboarding specialist will work closely with you to collect pertinent information and to get the appropriate clearances.

How secure is my information?

To safeguard your data, we follow the industry’s best security practices in handling HR data. We also have strict access controls to ensure that your information can be viewed only by those connected with you.

I am on an H1B visa. Will you transfer my visa or do you apply for a new one?

Collabera does sponsor or transfer H1B visas on a case-by-case basis. Please work with your recruiter to understand the process and whether it is feasible.
