Job Description

Looking for a solid IT Support Analyst on a long term contract for our biggest Oil & Gas client in Spring, TX

• IT infrastructure support for technical applications and IT Systems Management
• Application Delivery and Application Lifecycle Management
• Upgrade testing, licensing, version management and software deployments
• Business workflow improvement, coordinating implementation of application changes/upgrades
• IT systems and Product Catalog updates
• Application database and infrastructure management
• Coordinating system reliability issues with IT support organizations
• Application risk assessments, Security & Controls management
• Application access and installation support (Remote Graphics, database and LAN access, etc.)
• Technical application basic troubleshooting, monitor support ticket queues, coordinate problem resolution with appropriate internal resources or vendor contacts
• Performance monitoring / benchmarking - assessing network performance at global sites
• Application use mentoring and application-specific training delivery to Engineering users; document IT best practices and user guides on application SharePoint

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Quick learner with interest in, and aptitude for technical applications
• Windows Proficiency – Packaging, Installation
• Software acceptance testing and benchmarking
• Technical application support
• Database Management (Oracle & SQL)
• FlexLM and License Management preferred
