Job Description

Job Description The Sales Executive drives profitable sales revenue, gross margin results, and sales engagement for Print and Collaboration software and hardware sales within the existing customer base. The main focus will involve driving Net New Revenue and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders (sales team / technical pre-sales/partners) to deliver ‘best in breed’ outcomes and solutions to the market and our customers. The position is the main point of contact for Print and Collaboration sales for B2B Technologies and will create market awareness and deliver profitable sales revenue as per the agreed metrics. The role is an individual contributor role and must be capable of performing the following responsibilities:

• Sales Performance
o Driving profitable revenue sales results
o Exceeding set KPIs and metrics
• Stakeholder Engagement
o Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
o Negotiating with stakeholders
o Increasing client base
• Customer Contracts
o Drafting and reviewing contracts
o Deliver new business contracts
• Business Development
o Writing business proposals
o Developing growth strategies and plans
o Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
o Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
o Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
• Market Intelligence
o Following industry trends locally and internationally
o Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
• Other duties as directed from time to time within your skills range and capacity
• Adhere to behaviours that will assist in achieving Company goals, strategies and values

Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Behavioural Competencies:

• 1-2 years relevant Collaboration and/or Print industry experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present proposals
• Effective negotiating skills
• Strong solution sales experience within software or related environment
• Previous sales experience, particularly Print and Collaboration solutions
• Software sales experience within a small - medium business
• Articulates ideas clearly so that others can easily understand the information
• Presents information, analysis and ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Uses a planned approach to determine priorities and deliver agreed outcomes
• Clear on key tasks, is energetic and consistent in making things happen
• Exhibits sounds judgement and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction; refers problems or issues to the appropriate person(s) when necessary
• Uses insight to analyse, understand and develop simple and clear solutions that solve problems
• Demonstrates the ability to work co-operatively with others on a team, listens and responds constructively to other team members’ ideas, offers support
• Identifies what needs to be done and takes action before being asked, when the situation requires it
• Seeks out others involved in a situation to learn their perspectives
