Job Title           Payroll Operations Specialist
Duration           6+ months initial contract
 
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide information to employees and HRs on Pay and HR related issues
• Perform analysis on HR data and determine required actions
• Communicate via telephone with employees and HRs on highly complex payroll issues.
• Manage HR/Payroll related transactions
• Perform employee data management activities within established service levels
• Communicate professionally, effectively, timely and courteous
• Validating payroll calculations in Work Day for NAM population
• Identify issues and assess root cause
• Able to troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate actions to correct payroll wages
• Understanding of end-to-end payroll process including Year-End
• Perform maker/checker on processing payroll
• Determine error conditions and work with reporting team to obtain data from WorkDay
• Assesses reasonableness of data and identifies discrepancies
 
Qualifications
• 4 year degree required in Accounting/Finance
• FRESH Graduates are priority
• Experience with Work Day – preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum of four years of payroll experience
• Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
• Anticipates customers’ needs while providing an exemplary level of service to in an efficient time frame
• Prioritizes work in alignment with organizational and departmental goals and acts in accordance with business strategies and policies.
• Identifies, manages and prioritizes issues appropriately, working to identify and correct the root cause.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
