The Position: Director – Business Development Location: Mid-West Basic Purpose: The executive will be responsible for new business development within the professional services division for the Company. These services cover the following: IT and professional staff augmentation, direct hire placement and managed services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow sales objective for territory and set written plan of targets

• Manage BDMs in the central region to ensure their success to achieve their targets

• High level strategic relationship building

• New client acquisition

• Proposal development

• Attend networking and staffing events

• Sales presentations and closing

• Build client relationships at the “C” level and with hiring managers who purchase IT consulting services to maximize requirement opportunities

• Cold call prospective leads

• Utilize the Supplier Diversity, MSP, and Procurement channels to open new doors and become preferred vendors

• Follow up on warm leads and Convert hot leads into sales

• Build the professional services and solutions business through the selling of onshore & offshore projects and solutions

• Build a sales pipeline for offering project-based services

• Become thoroughly familiar with client systems and processes

• Key contributor to customer RFI, RFP and RFQ responses

• Negotiate rates with client managers 

The Person: The Executive will bring the following qualifications and experience:

Must Have:

• 7-10+ years’ experience of sales/ business development in staffing

• Experience with selling large, complex staffing deals

• Proven track record in sales

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to travel up to 60% and work in a global team of professionals

• Able to operate in a fast –paced and changing environment

• Bachelor's degree required

• Must be technically savvy

• Advanced working knowledge of PC and related software applications

• Effective at the C-level

• Ability to respond to comprehensive and detailed RFP's and customer driven bids

• Ability to foster and maintain solid partnerships with Clients, Staffing Account Managers, Office, and National Account Leadership.
