Pay Range: $40 to $45 an hour. 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Scientist to support sterile liquid formulation and manufacturing process development for pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will execute laboratory experiments, perform analytical characterization, and generate high quality scientific data to support product development. This role requires strong laboratory skills, technical documentation, and the ability to independently design, execute, and interpret experiments in a regulated environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams while ensuring compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory experiments supporting sterile liquid formulation and manufacturing process development.
• Prepare and evaluate sterile liquid formulations including solutions, emulsions, and suspensions.
• Perform analytical characterization including pH, osmolality, viscosity, rheology, turbidity, particle size, and physical appearance assessments.
• Operate HPLC and UPLC instrumentation to generate analytical data supporting formulation development.
• Design, execute, analyze, and interpret laboratory experiments independently.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions accurately using electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate scientific findings to project teams.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure laboratory readiness for daily operations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and comply with quality and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline with 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience or Master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands on experience with sterile liquid formulation and manufacturing process development.
• Experience developing solutions, emulsions, and suspensions.
• Experience with sterile filtration and autoclaving techniques.
• Hands on experience with HPLC and UPLC analytical systems.
• Experience performing analytical characterization including pH, osmolality, viscosity, rheology, turbidity, particle size, and physical appearance evaluations.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and data analysis skills.
• Experience using MS Word, Excel, and statistical software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis.
• Experience maintaining laboratory instrumentation.
• Experience presenting technical data to cross functional teams.
