Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Recruiting Manager to lead the operational delivery of a global recruiting function supporting a major expansion across Technology and Product organizations.
This position will oversee a globally distributed recruiting team of approximately 10 recruiters supporting multiple markets. The role will directly manage three team members, including a Senior Technical Recruiter and two Associate Managers who oversee additional recruiters.
The primary focus will be team leadership, recruiting capacity planning, requisition prioritization, recruiter performance, process improvement, and consistent execution throughout the recruiting lifecycle. The team is expected to support approximately 100 Technology and Product hires over the next five months, making this a highly visible and fast-paced leadership opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed recruiting team supporting Technology, Product, Business, Sales, and regional hiring needs.
- Directly manage three recruiting leaders and provide operational oversight for approximately 10 recruiters.
- Prioritize requisitions and balance recruiter capacity based on business priorities and hiring demand.
- Establish and monitor recruiting KPIs, service standards, quality metrics, and team performance.
- Ensure recruiters and hiring managers follow standardized recruiting processes, timelines, and service expectations.
- Act as an escalation point for hiring manager responsiveness, recruiting bottlenecks, and other issues impacting hiring progress.
- Analyze recruiting data and identify operational bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide leadership with clear reporting on recruiting progress, performance, pipeline health, and hiring risks.
- Improve recruiting workflows, governance, quality assurance, and overall service delivery.
- Support the adoption and optimization of recruiting technologies, including Workday Recruiting, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, automation, and other TA tools.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and senior business leaders across multiple regions and time zones.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational consistency across the recruiting organization.
- Support executive and senior-level searches as needed, including partnerships with executive recruiting agencies.
- Help develop scalable recruiting strategies to support high-volume and specialized Technology and Product hiring.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including leadership experience within a complex organization.
- Proven experience leading, managing, and coaching recruiters in a high-volume recruiting environment.
- Strong experience recruiting Technology and Product talent.
- Experience managing recruiting operations, recruiter capacity, requisition prioritization, KPIs, and process compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate recruiting data into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and hold recruiters and hiring managers accountable to established processes.
- Experience working across multiple regions, markets, and time zones.
- Advanced knowledge of Workday Recruiting.
- Familiarity with Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, recruiting automation, and other modern talent acquisition technologies.
- Experience supporting executive, senior leadership, or highly specialized searches.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and leadership skills.
