Pay Range: $28 to $32 an hour.

Duration: 06 to 12 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension based on business needs and performance.)
Work shift (days/times): Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift after training.
Job Summary:
Performs laboratory testing within a Good Manufacturing Practices laboratory to generate accurate and reliable analytical results.
Uses scientific education and analytical chemistry experience to perform simple to moderately complex laboratory testing.
Interprets laboratory data and determines conformance with established specifications.
Supports API, raw material, in process, and drug product testing activities.
Works collaboratively with laboratory team members to support timely product release and overall laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently performs and verifies laboratory techniques for which training has been completed while effectively addressing technical and logistical obstacles.
- Understands multiple laboratory techniques and principles and independently troubleshoots analytical techniques and instrument issues.
- Identifies opportunities for laboratory improvements and contributes to the development and implementation of improvement plans.
- Manages time effectively to complete assigned testing activities and meet established commitments.
- Recognizes obstacles that may affect testing timelines and takes appropriate action to resolve them.
- Supports special projects and laboratory activities based on business and operational needs.
- Communicates proactively with supervisors and team members to support timely completion of testing and product release.
- Maintains accurate laboratory documentation and follows applicable Good
- Manufacturing Practices requirements.
- Supports regulatory agency audit activities when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 3 years of direct laboratory experience.
- Hands on experience performing laboratory testing in a regulated environment.
- Experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple laboratory assignments and priorities.
- Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite and maintain flexibility to support first or second shift schedules and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LC, LCMS, ICP, Empower, Karl Fischer, dissolution, or IR.
- Experience with titrations and common wet chemical testing.
- Experience working in API, raw material, in process, or drug product testing
- laboratories.
- Experience troubleshooting analytical instruments and laboratory techniques.
- Experience supporting laboratory audits or regulatory agency activities.
