Day-to-day, what are the responsibilities?
- Functional / automation testing
- Hands-on testing phases
- Database queries / Database validation
- Running agile ceremonies, daily stand-up calls
- Completing testing work, manual test cases for a functionality or project
- Data setup
- Test execution
- Capturing all evidence as per requirements - good documentation skills
- Automation activities using Selenium and Java.
Must-haves/key skills needed:
- Hands on tester (8-10 years)
- Banking and payments
- Manual + automation testing
- Enhancing or building a framework
- Write simple java code
- API testing (Rest, Postman)
- UI Testing (Selenium, Cucumber Java)
