Pay Rate Range : $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
Key responsibilities
- This position will be responsible for executing formulation development projects in collaboration with staff scientists from the SkinMedica product development team.
- Key responsibilities include manufacturing topical cosmetic/OTC skincare formulas, maintaining laboratory notebooks and databases, managing raw material inventories and vendor relationships, conducting stability studies, performing analytical testing, and supporting pilot/scale-up activities.
Qualifications:
-
5 + years minimum experience in topical cosmetic/OTC formulation development is required for level III.

Open to candidates with less experience (2-5 years) at level II
-
Working knowledge of topical cosmetic/OTC laboratory methods and familiarity with GLP/GMP
-
Hands-on experience operating laboratory equipment used in topical cosmetic/OTC formula development
-
Experience in pilot/scale-up activities would be a plus

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Team player with a positive mindset
