Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product roadmap for Core Banking initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, Architecture, and Business teams throughout the SDLC.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Drive product delivery from concept through production release.
- Balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility when making product decisions.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recent experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Strong experience within Core Banking environments.
- Proven ownership of products throughout the complete SDLC.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skill.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
Core Banking Experience:

- Consumer Deposits
- Certificates of Deposit (CDs)
- Retail Banking Products
- Consumer Lending (preferred but secondary)
- Payments (ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT, Zelle)
- Customer Information File (CIF) / KYC
- Account Processing
- Debit/Credit Cards
- Treasury & Cash Management
Technical Knowledge:
- REST APIs
- API Integrations
- Microservices Architecture
- Backend Systems Integration
- Request/Response Lifecycle
- Payload Structures
- Frontend & Backend Integration Concepts
