Titile - (Remote)Cyber Security Engineer

Salary Range - $135,000–$150,000 Base

Day to Day:

• Support the  Defender Suite, Defender XDR,  Sentinel, and Log Analytics.
• Monitor and troubleshoot security log ingestion and log flow issues.
• Onboard and maintain new security log sources within  Sentinel.
• Support SOC analysts by maintaining the security platform.
• Troubleshoot Azure-related logging and connectivity issues.
• Utilize Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps to support security integrations.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for the enterprise  security environment.

Must Haves: 

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience supporting enterprise security environments (3–5 years may be considered with strong security experience).
• Hands-on experience administering Sentinel for log ingestion and security monitoring.
• Strong experience with theDefender Suite, including Defender XDR.
• Experience using Log Analytics to troubleshoot and maintain security log flows.
• Working knowledge of Azure with the ability to troubleshoot security-related issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise security platforms and security operations.

Plusses:

• Experience supporting an ISO 27001 environment.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Security certifications such as CCNP or other cybersecurity certifications.  Experience onboarding and troubleshooting security log sources.  Experience supporting enterprise SOC environments. 
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS log sources and  security integrations.
