Pay Range: $45 to $50 an hour.

Job Mode: Hybrid preferred in North Chicago, IL; Open to Remote

Duration: Contract Through December 31, 2026 (Possibility of Extension based on business needs and performance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support global philanthropy and corporate responsibility operations within a large enterprise environment. The role will lead business projects, operational processes, metrics, reporting, and technology enabled initiatives. The successful candidate will manage multiple priorities while coordinating with cross functional stakeholders and supporting financial, grant, compliance, and reporting activities. This position requires strong project management, operations management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple business projects and operational initiatives through planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, metrics, key performance indicators, reporting tools, and measurement systems for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and synthesize operational data, metrics, results, and insights for reporting and decision making.
  • Manage day to day operational processes including invoice management, grant processing, reporting, tracking, and project coordination.
  • Monitor budgets, financial activity, invoices, payment status, and related operational records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce administrative activities through automation and technology enabled solutions.
  • Manage business systems and databases while maintaining accurate and reliable operational information.
  • Coordinate contracts, grants, vendors, partners, and related activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve employee and stakeholder inquiries while coordinating appropriate solutions.
  • Develop reporting, compliance, and tracking tools to support operational visibility and accountability.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and other cross functional stakeholders.
  • Support audits, compliance activities, organizational reporting, and management presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 or more years of operations management, project management, or related business experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards, metrics, key performance indicators, reporting tools, or measurement systems.
  • Experience with data management, database creation, and evaluation systems.
  • Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience managing business systems and adopting new technology platforms.
  • Experience with financial tracking, invoice management, budget monitoring, or related financial operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in corporate philanthropy, nonprofit operations, corporate social responsibility, or foundation operations.
  • Experience with community grants, corporate donations, employee giving, volunteering, or disaster relief programs.
  • Experience with grants management or employee engagement platforms.
  • Experience with robotic process automation or artificial intelligence enabled process improvement.
  • Experience supporting ESG reporting, audits, or compliance activities.
  • Experience with contract administration and external partner or vendor management.
