Pay Range: $30 to $35 an hour.

Job Mode: Hybrid – Monday & Friday Remote; Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Onsite. (Flexibility is required to work onsite on Mondays or Fridays when business needs, projects, or deadlines require.)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension based on business needs and performance)
Job Summary:
- This position supports a Finance team within a large enterprise environment by driving financial process improvements, planning activities, reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
- The role will focus on improving the structure, efficiency, and automation of financial planning and consolidation files.
- The position will support financial planning cycles, budget tracking, monthly close activities, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- The ideal candidate will have strong financial and analytical capabilities along with advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SAP BPC, and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and business partnership skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Finance leadership with improving the structure, efficiency, and automation of financial planning and consolidation files.
- Review financial working papers and identify opportunities to remove, modify, standardize, or add content.
- Establish standardized spending categories and frameworks across financial working files.
- Support automation and refresh processes for ERP system actuals within financial planning files.
- Develop and improve processes for landing, integrating, and refreshing financial data.
- Assist with financial planning, Latest Best Estimate, and Long Range Planning cycles using SAP BPC.
- Support promotional, marketing, and sales force budget tracking and analysis.
- Analyze monthly actual results against financial plans and forecasts to identify risks, variances, and opportunities.
- Assist with monthly close activities, including headcount reporting and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages and highlight key financial trends, issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
- Provide backup support and coverage for Finance team members when needed.
- Support ongoing financial process improvement and automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4 or more years of Finance or Accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Strong understanding and experience with SAP BPC and ERP systems.
- Experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, or consolidation activities.
- Experience performing variance analysis and analyzing actual results against financial plans or forecasts.
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Strong business partnership and cross functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience automating Excel based financial reporting or planning processes.
- Advanced Power BI dashboard development experience.
- Experience with financial data automation and integration.
- Experience supporting management reporting and executive level financial presentations.
- Experience with promotional, marketing, or sales force budget management.
