Position: Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney 

Salary: $130k- $200k

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Fully on-site

Responsibilities

• Manage and work on plaintiff personal injury files from inception through resolution
• Assist with and prepare matters for trial
• Conduct discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case preparation
• Work directly with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters
• Independently manage assigned files while receiving guidance from experienced attorneys
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial
• Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and case strategy
• Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions
• Assist with active trials and develop courtroom experience
• Maintain organized and timely case files
• Take increasing ownership of matters as experience develops

Ideal Candidate

• At least 1 year of plaintiff personal injury experience
• Experience with personal injury litigation, preferably involving construction/labor law, auto, premises liability, or workplace injuries
• Trial experience or meaningful exposure to trial preparation is strongly preferred
• Strong interest in developing as a litigator
• Comfortable managing a busy caseload
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, motivated, and able to work independently
• Willingness to work closely with partners and learn from experienced trial attorneys

This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
