Job Summary:
- The Cell and Functional Biology team is seeking a Scientist to support high throughput antibody binding and functional screening activities.
- The role will execute, optimize, and analyze flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell based assays supporting antibody discovery programs.
- The position will maintain mammalian cell culture lines and troubleshoot assay performance.
- The Scientist will also support development, standardization, and automation of screening workflows and protocols.
- This role requires strong experimental skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high throughput antibody screening workflows using flow cytometry based binding, internalization, and reporter assays.
- Execute and analyze experiments evaluating antibody binding, potency, and selectivity using ELISA and flow cytometry platforms.
- Operate automated liquid handling systems to support screening workflows.
- Maintain immortalized mammalian cell lines for screening activities.
- Develop and standardize screening workflows, assay protocols, and automation procedures.
- Troubleshoot and optimize assay performance to improve screening efficiency and consistency.
- Coordinate sourcing of internal and commercial reagents required for screening assays.
- Analyze experimental data and communicate findings to support project advancement decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5 years of relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience, or Master’s degree with approximately 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands on experience with flow cytometry assay execution and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with high throughput screening workflows.
- Experience with functional cellular assays.
- Experience with immortalized mammalian cell culture.
- Strong experimental troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ELISA experience.
- Experience with protein protein interaction assays.
- Experience with assay automation or automated liquid handling platforms.
- Experience developing and standardizing high throughput screening protocols.
- Experience in biotherapeutics or antibody discovery.
