- The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in strategy/operations, change management, and stakeholder engagement who can quickly step in and support a fast-moving scientific or regulated business environment.
- They should be comfortable developing polished presentations, memos, newsletters, and other leadership communications, with strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Scientific or life sciences experience is preferred, but the manager is flexible for candidates with highly relevant communications and business performance experience.
What you will do:
- In this vital role you will shape the future of the Precision Medicine organization as part of the PMed Portfolio Management Strategy & Operations team.
- This individual will play a key role in the execution of critical processes and projects, most notably supporting the Head of Portfolio Management with key communications, strategic planning and change management, and overall portfolio communication activities.
- The position is essential in driving the success of our new operating model by managing effective communications to our cross-functional stakeholders, fostering stakeholder engagement, managing projects requested by our senior leaders, and facilitating change management efforts to drive better outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Operations
- Support the PMed Strategy and Operations team in strategy development, execution of organizational plans, creation of organizational communications, and implementation of functional projects.
- Support therapeutic area specific portfolio reviews and prioritization ensuring alignment to strategic priorities
- Monitor key performance indicators and business benchmarks to support leadership decision-making.
- Manage departmental business processes, governance activities, and operational planning.
- Lead or support complex cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Research, Development, Oncology, Global Development, and other R&D organizations.
Communications & Organizational Engagement
- Develop organizational communications, executive presentations, newsletters, announcements, and leadership messaging.
- Maintain SharePoint sites, FAQs, collaboration platforms, and communication channels.
- Facilitate leadership meetings, and cross-functional working sessions, including agenda development, meeting facilitation, minutes, and action tracking.
- Foster engagement across the Precision Medicine organization through clear, consistent communication leveraging various established communication channels (i.e. Newsletter, MS teams, Memos, Roadshow decks, All Staff Meetings)
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
- Support implementation of new operating models and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Support organizational change initiatives by collecting feedback, measuring adoption, and implementing process improvements.
- Support change management initiatives including communications, building strategy, and proactive pulse checks
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage digital technologies to automate processes and improve business operations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, PhD, PharmD, or Master's degree with experience in laboratory sciences or the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
- Demonstrated change management experience leading strategic initiatives and organizational change.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience supporting R&D organizations with knowledge of clinical development, precision medicine, biomarker development, or translational sciences.
- Scientific background in Oncology, Inflammation, Cardiovascular Disease, Biology, or related disciplines.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional programs and business operations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Experience developing executive presentations and business performance dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced digital literacy with MS Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, Miro, SharePoint, and MS 365.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong collaborative relationships across organizations.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
