Job Summary:
A leading healthcare technology organization is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of next-generation cardiac mapping and ablation technologies. This role will lead system-level engineering activities, drive cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to product development from concept through commercialization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in complex hardware, software, and signal-processing systems within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead system engineering efforts for advanced medical technology products from concept through launch.
• Develop and analyze system architecture, system behavior, and overall system performance.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, clinical, and marketing teams to define product requirements.
• Translate user and business needs into design input requirements.
• Drive systems integration activities, root cause investigations, and solution development.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve technical challenges, and achieve project goals.
• Present technical updates, project status, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Contribute to technology strategies and long-term product roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
  
  Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience developing complex hardware, software, or signal-processing systems.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and product development processes.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and lead engineering initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience within the medical device industry.
• Experience supporting cardiac mapping, electrophysiology, or ablation technologies.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and medical device regulations, including IEC 60601.
• Experience working in large enterprise or multi-division organizations.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers.

Pay Range: $50/hr to $55/hr
