Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension)

Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a Customer Accounts Specialist for our Revenue Cycle Management team, located onsite in Livermore, CA.
This full-time position requires handling billing inquiries and managing outstanding patient balances. The role demands a strong understanding of medical billing, insurance, and the ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Responsibilities:

Communicate with up to 50 patients daily via phone and email in a professional manner.

Address inquiries related to patient statements, billing, and general questions.

Reconcile patient accounts to ensure accuracy of statements.

Interpret and explain billing statements and methodologies.
-
Maintain accurate records of collection activities.
-
Process requests, adjustments, and refunds efficiently.

Keep management informed of any issues or concerns.

Assist in monthly closing processes.
-
Process credit card payments and monitor hardship applications.

Handle correspondence and perform other related duties as assigned.

Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines
Education Qualification:-

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of medical billing and insurance.

Experience in customer service within a healthcare setting.

Ability to interpret EOBs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Attention to detail and adherence to quality and productivity standards
Pay Range: $20 to $24 an hour
