Title: Director, Finance - Gaming & Media
Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404 – On-site
Duration: 6 months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance)
Pay Range: ($80-$85) on an hourly basis.
Director, Finance – Gaming & Media
- Seeking a senior Finance leader with 10+ years of gaming industry experience to lead FP&A and financial strategy for a growing gaming and media organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of gaming industry finance/FP&A experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with complex financial analysis, negotiations, and executive-level decision support.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling.
- Evaluate game development, acquisition, and project investment opportunities.
- Own monthly financial reporting, P&L analysis, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
- Partner with senior leadership on business strategy, financial decisions, and project cost management.
- Develop financial models to assess project economics, profitability, ROI, cash flow, and risks.
- Partner with corporate finance, controllership, development, marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
- Support implementation and optimization of ERP/FP&A systems, preferably Ora_cle.
