Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91320 - Onsite
Duration: 12 months (Extension/Conversion will be based on the performance)
Pay Rate: ($25 - $28.85) on hourly basis
Description:
- We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Protein Therapeutics – Protein Chemistry team.
- This role will support the analysis, characterization, and/or purification of protein-based biologic drug candidates and contribute to the selection of promising therapeutic molecules.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and characterize novel and complex protein/biologic molecules.
- Perform protein analytical and/or purification experiments.
- Generate, analyze, and report experimental data to support candidate selection.
- Collaborate with Project, Analytics, Automation, and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot experiments and apply independent critical thinking to scientific problems.
- Support high-throughput protein purification and analytical workflows.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field with 2+ years of relevant scientific experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with protein purification and/or protein analytics.
- Experience with HPLC, MCE, LabChip, or similar analytical techniques.
- Familiarity with Chromeleon, LabChip, or related analysis software.
- Experience working with biologic/large-molecule therapeutics.
- Experience handling and analyzing large datasets.
- Strong communication, collaboration, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
