Title: Data Engineer 

Salary:$112-$135K

Location - Denver or New York

Responsibilities:

• Data Engineering & Backend Development Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and data pipelines processing terabytes of data
• Support core advertising and ACR systems through scalable, reliable engineering solutions Build and maintain ETL workflows and platform services across the data ecosystem 
• Platform Tooling & Governance Build internal tooling that supports data governance, data quality, and compliance initiatives
• Help maintain standards and controls across critical data assets Contribute to platform improvements that make large-scale data systems more reliable and manageable 
• System Ownership & Troubleshooting Build understanding across multiple complex pipelines and platform projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in distributed systems and large-scale processing workflows
• Define technical enhancements, scope deliverables, and provide estimates for smaller features 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams in the US and India
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support planning and development efforts across multiple components of the data platform 

Must Haves: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field 

• 1-2 years of relevant professional software development experience 

• Strong proficiency in data structures and algorithms 

• Solid understanding of operating systems, computer networks, and DBMS Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

• Clear written and verbal communication Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones. 

• Experience with Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala-Spark)  

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Airflow Experience building and scaling ETL processes 

Plusses: 

• Familiarity with AWS, or Azure Understanding of distributed systems concepts and low-level design
