Title: Payroll Analyst
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Location: Houston, TX
Pay range: $30/hr to $60/hr

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end, in-house payroll across 4 sites, ensuring adherence to rules, regulations, taxes, and compliance.
• Provide general ledger information to the accounting team for auditing purposes.
• Handle day-to-day payroll problem-solving, including payroll corrections, reviewing/verifying physical results, and making necessary adjustments.
• Perform basic accounting tasks, such as bank reconciliations and financial adjustments.
• Proactively identify issues, ask questions, and collaborate flexibly with different teams and schedules in a changing work environment.

Must-Haves:

• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: 4–5 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing.
• Workday Expertise: Solid end-to-end, in-house payroll experience using Workday.
• Workday System Capabilities: Proficiency in managing earnings, configurations, transmitting integrations, running categories, deduction codes, and earnings codes.
• Accounting Fundamentals: Practical knowledge of basic accounting principles and bank reconciliations.
