Job Title: Cloud / SRE Infrastructure Engineer Role
Location: Jersey City, NJ / Pennington NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12-18 Months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot production infrastructure and applications.
- Use Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and other observability tools for issue detection and performance analysis.
- Troubleshoot Linux/Unix, databases, cloud, and infrastructure issues.
- Support AWS/Azure cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible, IaC, CI/CD, and containers/OpenShift.
- Develop Python/Django/REST APIs and internal support tools.
- Participate in incident response, RCA, and production problem-solving.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- 3+ years of SRE / production reliability experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, and monitoring/observability.
- Experience with production infrastructure, automation, and troubleshooting.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
