Pay Range: $25 to $30 an hour.

Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract – Possible Extension based on performance and business needs

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Biologist to support Manufacturing Science and Technology activities within a biologics manufacturing environment. The role provides technical and laboratory support for late stage and commercial biologics manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include laboratory studies, process data monitoring, documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement. The position requires strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for late stage and commercial biologics manufacturing processes.
• Support laboratory scale studies related to biologics manufacturing processes.
• Support preparation, review, and documentation of technical manufacturing activities.
• Monitor and trend process data to support continuous process verification.
• Apply GMP and GLP principles to laboratory activities, documentation, and instrument use.
• Troubleshoot laboratory and process issues and support effective problem resolution.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams while independently managing assigned activities.

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of related industry experience.
• Knowledge and practical understanding of GMP or GLP principles.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aseptic handling experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compendia, and ICH guidelines.
• Coding experience or advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience with biologics or therapeutic protein manufacturing.
• Experience with process technology transfer, optimization, validation, or continuous process improvement.
• Project management experience.
