Description:
- Support revenue accounting for digital and streaming business units, focusing on revenue recognition, contract/order review, and month-end close.
- Review contracts and sales orders for accurate revenue recognition.
- Perform month-end journal entries, revenue calculations, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure revenue is recorded accurately under GAAP and SOX controls.
- Work with Sales and Client Services to resolve order and revenue discrepancies.
- Resolve sales-order data issues and ensure accurate ERP/Oracle processing.
- Analyze revenue variances and support process improvements and audits.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance - Must Have
- 2-5 years of accounting experience.
- Revenue accounting/revenue recognition experience preferred.
- Ora_cle or major ERP experience.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel — VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables.
- Journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close experience.
- Strong organization, communication, and deadline-management skills.
- Advertising/media industry experience.
- Operative One and Salesforce.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Close attention to detail.
