Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer II will support manufacturing operations through the development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical test systems and automated equipment. This position will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency while maintaining compliance with applicable quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, automated equipment, and manufacturing equipment supporting daily production operations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize electrical test systems and manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance, reliability, and productivity.
- Collaborate with production, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Analyze equipment and manufacturing process data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Perform root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective solutions.
- Support equipment qualification, validation, and manufacturing process improvement activities.
- Ensure equipment and manufacturing processes comply with applicable quality system requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Three to five years of experience supporting manufacturing operations in a regulated or high-volume production environment.
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment, data acquisition systems, or manufacturing test systems.
- Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Working knowledge of electrical schematics and circuit troubleshooting.
- Strong root cause analysis and technical problem-solving skills.
- •Ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing, quality, production, and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with equipment qualification, equipment validation, or process validation.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with PLCs, automation controls, or manufacturing data analysis.
