Client: Leading Entertainment Firm
Title: Manager, International Third-Party Measurement
Location: New York, NY 10036 - Onsite.
Duration: 9 months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance)
Pay Range: ($55 - $60) on an hourly basis.
 
Overview:
  • We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with business judgment and curiosity about audience measurement.
  • You should be comfortable working independently, handling complex data, communicating with stakeholders, and learning how measurement systems differ across international markets.

Responsibilities:

Analytics & Insights

  • Independently deliver complex ad hoc analyses using third-party audience data.
  • Translate business questions into data-driven analysis and actionable insights.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver regular international market reporting and identify opportunities to automate recurring analysis.

Audience Measurement & Vendor Support

  • Evaluate third-party measurement methodologies, including panel design, data collection, reliability, relevance, and cost.
  • Prepare analysis, briefing materials, and talking points for vendor and Joint Industry Committee (JIC) meetings.
  • Investigate discrepancies between first-party and third-party measurement and support resolution with vendors.
  • Support day-to-day vendor relationships and related financial administration, including POs and invoicing.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently deliver business-focused analysis.
  • Working proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience with Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker, or similar BI/visualization tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of, or strong interest in developing expertise in, audience measurement and third-party data methodologies.
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Comfortable working with external vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong curiosity about TV, streaming, media, and entertainment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Nielsen or other audience measurement providers.
  • Previous experience in media, television, streaming, entertainment, or market research.
  • Experience with Python or R.
