Salary: $115,000 – $130,000 Base + Bonus

Senior Manager, Trust Accounting to lead trust accounting operations, regulatory compliance, governance, controls, and business resiliency activities supporting International Money Movement business.

What You’ll Do

• Lead global trust accounting operations, including reconciliations, accounting controls, governance, and compliance oversight supporting International Money Movement.
• Manage approximately 6–7 Toronto-based employees and offshore resources in Hyderabad and Chennai.
• Partner with Compliance, Money Movement Operations, Technology, Legal, and senior business stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Review operational processes, identify control gaps and risks, and implement opportunities for process improvement.
• Oversee accounting controls and reconciliations to ensure accurate and effective operational processes.
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives and ensure the organization remains audit- and regulator-ready.
• Strengthen governance frameworks and ensure appropriate controls are in place across operations.
• Support business resiliency and disaster recovery planning for critical business operations.
• Develop long-term operational strategies aligned with the organization's expected growth and geographic expansion.
• Provide hands-on leadership while balancing day-to-day operational requirements with a 3–5 year strategic perspective.
• Identify risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence business decisions without direct authority.
• Develop team capabilities, succession plans, and leadership pipelines to support future organizational growth.
