Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to support year-end IRS reporting and tax-related activities within a Private Wealth Management environment. The role will focus on testing and validating tax reporting processes, reviewing tax forms, supporting production validation, and responding to client inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of tax analysis experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support year-end IRS reporting functions, including testing and validation activities.

Perform testing of tax reporting processes and applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with established requirements.

Conduct production validation of tax reporting outputs and identify discrepancies or issues.

Review and validate tax forms for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable requirements.

Research and investigate tax reporting discrepancies and work with appropriate teams to resolve issues.

Provide support for client inquiries related to tax reporting and tax forms.

Partner with internal teams within Private Wealth Management to research and resolve tax-related issues.

Maintain accurate documentation of testing, validation, findings, and resolutions.

Assist with identifying process issues and escalating complex matters when necessary.

Manage multiple priorities while meeting critical year-end deadlines.

Follow established procedures, controls, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in Tax Analysis, Tax Operations, Tax Reporting, or a related field.

Experience working with tax forms, tax reporting, or IRS reporting processes.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and perform detailed research.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to work effectively with internal teams and support client inquiries.

Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, particularly during year-end reporting periods.
