Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and continuously improve manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production operations within a regulated medical device environment. This role will focus on manufacturing troubleshooting, process improvement, production support, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency while partnering with cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and continuously improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Provide hands-on production support and respond to line-down issues and manufacturing concerns.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production-related issues.
  • Identify and implement improvements addressing quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and throughput.
  • Maintain production status, statistics, and manufacturing information for assigned product lines.
  • Apply DMAIC, A3, Gage R&R, Cp, Cpk, and Statistical Process Control methodologies to improve processes.
  • Utilize Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Visual Workplace principles to optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Lead manufacturing projects involving safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities, including CAPA activities.
  • Generate, maintain, and modify manufacturing process documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing, engineering, quality, and production teams.
  • Develop and implement sustainable manufacturing process improvements.

    Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production support, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
  • Understanding of DMAIC, A3, Gage R&R, Cp, Cpk, and Statistical Process Control.
  • Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional manufacturing teams.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience supporting CAPA and manufacturing quality improvement initiatives.
