Description:
- The Associate Scientist will perform routine biochemical and cell-based assays to generate reliable, reproducible data.
- This person will follow established protocols, maintain clear experimental records, help troubleshoot assay or equipment issues, and communicate results to the project team.
Must haves:
- Experience with cell culture, experience running assays, experience with data analysis
Key responsibilities
- Execute routine biochemical and cell-based assays according to established protocols.
- Prepare reagents, samples, and assay materials; operate high-throughput laboratory equipment and assay instruments.
- Record, organize, and review experimental data, and communicate results and observations to the team.
- Analyze assay data and contribute to summaries, presentations, and reports.
- Identify and troubleshoot routine experimental or equipment issues, seeking guidance when needed.
- Follow laboratory procedures for safety, documentation, and data quality.

Coordinate day-to-day assay materials and activities to support timely execution.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Experience following experimental protocols and documenting laboratory work.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Industry experience in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
- Experience with high-throughput laboratory instruments, such as Echo liquid dispensers and Multidrop dispensers.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as GraphPad Prism and Genedata Screener.

Experience with biochemical and cell-based assay execution, data analysis, or troubleshooting.
Salary and Other Compensation:
