About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join an Infrastructure Electrical Engineering team supporting large-scale manufacturing and industrial facilities in Austin, TX.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating electrical power distribution systems from initial scope through construction and energization. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, design, and construction teams on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with strong commercial or industrial MEP design experience who enjoys hands-on design work, field coordination, and seeing projects move from design into construction.
What You’ll Do

Design electrical power distribution systems from project scope through construction.

Develop electrical construction documents and deliverables using Revit MEP.

Prepare single-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding drawings, underground conduit drawings, power plans, and lighting layouts.

Apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) to develop code-compliant electrical designs.

Perform electrical calculations for conductors, grounding, transformers, and overcurrent protection.

Design and coordinate low-voltage electrical distribution systems, including 480V to 120V systems.

Coordinate with Design Managers, Manufacturing, Construction, and other engineering disciplines.

Participate in field walks and site surveys.

Review equipment submittals and specifications.

Respond to RFIs and electrical design questions.

Support projects through construction and energization.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3–5 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical design experience.

Hands-on experience designing electrical systems in Revit MEP.
-
Experience with electrical power or distribution system design.
-
Experience designing or working with 480V–120V electrical systems.
-
Working knowledge of the NEC and electrical design requirements.

Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-
Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Industrial MEP experience.

Manufacturing or factory design experience.
-
Large-scale facility electrical design experience.
-
Experience with lighting calculations or ElumTools.

Experience supporting electrical projects through construction.
