- Client's Institutional Services (IS) division is experiencing rapid business growth and has initiated a strategic digital transformation program. The program aims to grow revenue through new and transformed digital-first trust and agency service products, transition from a product-centric to a client-centric operating model, expand from market-specific to global solutions, and materially lower the cost to serve.
- In alignment with our business strategy, we are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to support the evolution of our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) deal administration capabilities, with responsibility for supporting the associated IS suite of tools.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape IS’s M&A capabilities and contribute to one of the largest and fastest growing business segments in the division. They will support product vision and roadmap execution, maintain backlog hygiene, document requirements, and measure enhancement outcomes across both client and employee-facing solutions.
- Success requires a business analyst who thrives in complexity, executes structured discovery, has strong attention to detail, can produce clear and comprehensive deliverables, and can work in a collaborative manner toward defined outcomes.
- Elicit and document product requirements from key stakeholders
- Document existing business processes via interviews and observation
- Document screen flows and user journeys
- Support review of wireframes, prototypes, and proposed screen flows
- Translate user experience feedback into updated requirements
- Define and track success metrics for new features and enhancements, including adoption, usage, completion, errors and operational efficiency measures
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Facilitate issue triage
- Document feature traceability from requirements through test scripts and delivered functionality
- Collaborate with product, technology, operations, and business stakeholders to clarify scope, dependencies, and delivery needs
- Document user stories and acceptance criteria
- Document data/interface requirements
- Develop thorough functional test scripts for new features and feature enhancements
- Advocate for end users by supporting solution validation and gathering feedback to ensure our products meet client and business needs
- Identify risk, control, compliance, and operational considerations during discovery and requirements definition
- Partner with product, operations, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure requirements support appropriate controls
- Support delivery of solutions that balance client experience, business value, operational efficiency, and risk management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, or a related field
- Business analyst experience supporting digital products, platforms, or technology-enabled business processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex workflows, systems, and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business, technology, operations, product, risk, and compliance stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline, with the ability to produce accurate, complete, and well-structured documentation
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, or evolving environments
- Client-centric mindset, with the ability to balance user needs, business outcomes, operational efficiency, and control requirements
- Experience supporting UI/UX discovery, screen flows, requirements, and delivery
- Experience with digital experience user measurement and metrics
- Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio)
- Understanding of digital security and access management concepts, including login, authentication, identity verification and account security controls
- Knowledge or experience specific to M&A
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools like Jira or Confluence
- Certifications or coursework in business analysis, Agile, or similar
