Role Overview:
  • We are seeking Java Developers at two experience levels to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-based technologies. Candidates should have experience with distributed architectures, relational databases, Linux/Unix environments, and message-driven systems.
  • The role level will be determined by the candidate’s years of experience, technical expertise, complexity of work handled, and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
  • Build and support distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and microservices.
  • Develop modern applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Work with cloud and container technologies, including AWS, ECS, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate applications with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Use Linux/Unix shell scripting for application support, automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with message-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka and EMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Level 1: Java Developer – C12
Experience Required: 5+ years of Java development experience.
Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Develop and enhance Java applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Apply hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and distributed application architectures.
  • Contribute to cloud-based application development and containerized deployments.
  • Work with Oracle or SQL Server databases and Linux/Unix shell environments.
  • Support integrations using Kafka, EMS, or similar messaging technologies.
  • Troubleshoot defects, resolve technical issues, and support application maintenance.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and technical leads on design and implementation.
  • Deliver assigned development tasks independently while following established technical standards.
Candidate Profile: 
  • A hands-on Java developer with solid implementation skills, capable of delivering assigned technical work with limited supervision and contributing to enterprise application development.
  • Level 2: Senior Java Developer – C13
  • Experience Required: 10+ years of Java development experience.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Lead the design and development of complex Java applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Drive technical design decisions for distributed, service-oriented, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise application development.
  • Design and optimize scalable solutions using AWS, ECS, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
  • Lead database design, query optimization, and integration efforts involving Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Apply advanced Linux/Unix shell scripting and troubleshoot complex production issues.
  • Design and support robust message-driven integrations using Kafka, EMS, or similar technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews, establish development best practices, and guide other developers.
  • Own complex technical deliverables, identify architectural risks, and drive solutions to production issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Candidate Profile:
  • A highly experienced Java developer with strong architectural and problem-solving capabilities, able to independently own complex deliverables, influence technical decisions, and provide technical guidance to other developers.
Required Technical Skills – Both Levels:

Key Differentiation Between C12 and C13:
  • C12: 5+ years of experience, focused on hands-on development, implementation, troubleshooting, and delivery of assigned tasks.
  • C13: 10+ years of experience, with greater emphasis on technical ownership, complex solution design, architectural decisions, code quality, and mentoring.
  • Candidates will be evaluated against the expectations of the relevant level, with compensation aligned to the applicable C12 or C13 pay band.
