DAY TO DAY:

Manage inventory levels and monitor raw material availability to ensure manufacturing operations run smoothly.

Coordinate purchasing and ordering of raw materials, supplies, and equipment based on production needs.

Create and maintain production schedules, prioritizing materials and supplier deliveries to meet customer demands.

Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, including negotiating pricing, expediting orders, and resolving delivery or quality issues.

Work cross-functionally with production, accounting, and receiving teams to resolve supply chain issues and ensure accurate orders and invoices.

Utilize Oracle to manage purchasing activities, inventory, production planning data, and pricing information.

Maintain accurate supply chain dashboards, monitor inventory and service-level performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of progressive purchasing experience
- 3+ years of progressive scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in Oracle or SAP
- Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles
- Solid knowledge of production, purchasing, and inventory planning
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Supply chain experience and the ability to contribute quickly with minimal training
Pay rate:
$28/hr.-$32/hr.
